Grant Lounsbury's fine art career spans 28 years, beginning in the field of traditional 2D animation where he worked on a variety of projects from Disney Television to feature films. He currently works predominately as an oil painter and art teacher at the Rochester Memorial Art Gallery in Upstate NY, and continues to use his animation background for many illustration projects. In his painting, he enjoys embracing a looser style that feels more alive and reveals to the viewer the movement, energy and compassion he feels as an artist.
